Q. How do I check balances & payment history plus make deposits for my student’s meal account?
You can still send cash or checks to the cafeteria with your student. However, we now have a faster, more convenient ways to view and pay:
Internet with your debit or credit card:
We have opened a Web Store that never closes, where you may add any amount to the meal account and check payment history from the convenience of your home or office.
Pre-authorized credit or debit card payments:
You may also pre-authorize Kenyon-Wanamingo Public Schools to process a defined charge once per month for the ten school months this year. The pre-authorized payment allows parents to automatically add a pre-determined amount of money to a student’s account on a monthly basis. You don’t have to remember to add money to your student’s lunch account for the rest of the year! Currently only Visa or Mastercard cards will be accepted

Q. How do I find the Kenyon-Wanamingo Web Store?
You can reach the Web Store from our Kenyon-Wanamingo home page: Click on the Web Payments button which takes you directly to the Web Store.

Q. What information do I need to provide for a payment?
You need to submit your child’s name, school, and student ID number along with your credit or debit card number.

Q. How do I know the payment went through?
The Web Store will email you with a confirmation receipt immediately after processing with a transaction number. If there is ever a question about the payment, the transaction number will allow us to verify the addition to your student’s lunch account.

Q. If I choose the monthly pre-authorization option, how will I know you have charged the monthly amount?
If you provide an email address on the application form, we will automatically notify you when we charge your credit or debit card. If you do not have an email address, or do not want us to email you, check your credit or debit card statement for a charge from Kenyon-Wanamingo Public Schools.

Q. What if the credit card company does not approve the charge?
We require a contact telephone number on the Deposit Item and will contact you by telephone and/or email for your instructions.

Q. Why can’t I use my debit/credit card at the school cafeteria?
We hope to reduce the time cafeteria staff devotes to taking payments. By centralizing the credit card function, we can provide better security and allow cafeteria personnel to focus on their main objective – to provide nutritious and appealing food for your child.

Q. I have more than one child in the Kenyon-Wanamingo School System. How do I make payments to more than one account?
You select a product for each child’s account. After you complete the student information for one child, you select the "Buy Now" button to confirm your purchase. Then, you may select the Continue Shopping button to add money to another child’s lunch account.

Q. Why am I charged a convenience fee?
Every new item on the Web Store costs the district something. In order to keep lunch prices low, we must offset the processing fees charged to us by Visa, MasterCard or Discover.
